Founded in March 2012 by Christie Speciale, Tanner’s P.A.W.S. was created in memory of Tanner, a 4-legged child who lost his life to cancer on March 4, 2011. Having a deep love and passion for helping animals and realizing the number of dogs being euthanized in the community, Christie realized the need for an animal rescue and shelter in the Corning, NY area.
